Tasquatch is a project management application that was writen to manage activities across marketing, digital design and development, public relations, and SEO. The product supports the 250 internal users and outside clients.
I was responsible for selecting the technology stack for both the frontend and backend and wrote a large portion of the backend for the application, where I made substantial contributions to the unit tests, REST API, deployment tool, and application search.
Why was it built?
It was written when the stakeholders couldn’t find a cost-effective, off-the-shelf product that satisfied the requirements needed for the sensitive nature of some of the agency’s PR engagements.
